1. Introduction
By purchasing or participating in any Serene Birthing course, you agree to the following Terms, Disclaimer, and Privacy Policy.
Serene Birthing is a midwife-led education service designed to support and prepare you for pregnancy, labour, and birth. It is not a replacement for individual medical care.
2. Booking & Payment
A booking secures your place on a Serene Birthing virtual course. Full payment or agreed deposit is required to confirm your space.
Serene Birthing reserves the right to decline or refuse any booking at its discretion. If a booking cannot be fulfilled, all monies paid will be refunded in full.
3. Cancellations, Transfers & Compassion Clause
Due to the limited nature of live virtual courses, refunds are not routinely provided.
However:
- If your baby arrives prior to the course start date, you will be offered a transfer or full refund
- In the event of pregnancy loss or significant medical circumstances, a compassionate refund or transfer will be offered
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer to a future course (subject to availability and reasonable notice).
4. Course Changes & Delivery
Serene Birthing reserves the right to amend course dates, times, or content where necessary.
In the event of a rescheduled session, an alternative date will be offered. If this is not suitable, a refund for the affected session will be provided.
Delivery of virtual sessions is dependent on technology. While every effort is made to ensure a smooth experience, Serene Birthing is not responsible for technical issues outside of its control.
5. Educational Purpose & Medical Responsibility
All content provided is for educational purposes only.

- You will seek medical advice if you have any questions or concerns relating to the health of you or your baby
- You remain responsible for your own healthcare decisions and those of your baby
If you experience any concerns regarding your health or your baby’s wellbeing, you should contact your healthcare provider immediately.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Every pregnancy, labour, and birth experience is unique.
While this course is designed to support a positive and empowered experience, individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
